The University of the Arts Helsinki fosters Finnish artistic heritage and renews art. The university was launched in 2013 upon the merging of the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy and Theatre Academy Helsinki – all of them well-known, valued and high-quality art universities full of talent.
Despite of the good collaboration, combining three universities has its challenges. All universities have their own partnership programmes and their own ways to collaborate. To be more productive and communal, they want to unite these habits.
Together with Måndag, University of the Arts is creating new, common partnership model. The model aims to find the best ways to collaborate with individuals, organisations and companies – to strengthen University of the Arts, to highlight its core values as art educator and as a main goal: to further the social impact of art in society, together.
