CMI: Influential Peace Embassadors Here and Abroad
INTRODUCING THE PEACE MAKERS OF TOMORROW
Finland has a long tradition of conflict resolution. Even in playschool kids learn to get along and solve their arguments peacefully and fairly. And in the wider world, Finnish conflict resolution has an important role in solving the most serious conflicts in many places. The Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) is an independent Finnish organisation that works to prevent and resolve violent conflicts through informal dialogue and mediation.
Right now there are many severe crises facing the world. World will always need people to solve conflicts. For this reason, the Ahtisaari Days aim to introduce Finnish youth to the ways in which organizations like CMI work to solve violent conflicts and promote peace everywhere. Ahtisaari Days promote the idea that anyone can be a conflict solver today in their own physical or digital environment. In both, it provides concrete tools to implement conflict resolution. Ahtisaari Days is also a network of authors who use and guide you in using the tools.
Måndag is helping CMI and Ahtisaari Days to build even stronger brand, concepts, marketing and communication.
