Marium designs actionable strategies for sustainable and resilient futures by studying human practices and cultural norms. With 12 years in both private and public sectors, she has worked on various sustainable development projects, creating practical, culturally sensitive solutions.

Marium has held prestigious academic appointments as a Visiting Scholar at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and a Visiting Researcher at both Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. She also served as the Sustainability and Product Research Lead at ResQ, a food waste technology company, where she led initiatives to reduce waste, enhance circular and sustainable practices, and drive product innovation.Currently, she shares her expertise as a Guest Lecturer at Aalto University and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki and as a Strategist at Måndag.

Marium earned her Ph.D. in Sustainable Fashion from Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, and an M.Phil. in Culture, Environment, and Sustainability from the University of Oslo in Norway.
