How to communicate that food waste can be turned into real gourmet?
Grocery stores throw away 65 million kilos of food in Finland every year. This is way too much. If we want to even slow down the global warming, it is crucially important to reduce food waste.
From Waste to Taste– project aims to give a new life to the completely edible food that grocery stores throw away by serving it in a waste food restaurant. After a crowdfunding campaign waste food restaurant Loop finally opened its doors in 2016 in Lapinlahti, Helsinki.
Måndag’s responsibility was to create Loop’s corporate image and a social media presence that would attract food lovers to come and enjoy waste.
