The best way to take care of the environment is to find information and change your habits – and help others to do the same. The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra and Måndag are launching a new think tank for young people aged 18 to 25, whose purpose is to question familiar habits and find better and more sustainable solutions for everyday life.
As a volunteer of Tankki, you will meet experts, learn about media work and build knowledge and expertise on three themes: clothing and fashion, food and travel. The themes are mentored by trashionista Outi Les Pyy, circular economy specialist Hanna Mattila and writer and photographer Marinella Himari. In addition you will visit companies, meet activists and participate workshops. The members of Tankki will publish their learnings in Tankki’s own social media channel.
We are now looking for young, ambitious people to join Tankki – if you are 18–25 year old and live in Helsinki, Jyväskylä or Rovaniemi and want take a stand on the current consumer culture, join Tankki here!
