How to support bicycle culture in Helsinki?
It all started in 2013. The city of Helsinki wanted to celebrate spring with bicycle festivities. Måndag organised a biking parade and event which gathered hundreds of bikers to enjoy the sun, bike trial runs, bicycle repairs, food and music. In 2015, the festival had already become a spring tradition. We came up with a new name for it: Stadin kelat which means Helsinki’s bikes. The event has grown bigger each year and it is an essential part of the process of making Helsinki a better, happier and more diverse as biking city.
